It has been 10 years since the tragic events at Marikana that changed our industry and our country.

While we remember the 44 people who lost their lives and the families whose futures were irrevocable changed, let us recommit to continue working together to ensure that these events never happen again.

By working together – companies, unions and employees, government and communities – we can make a difference in our world, and the world we create for our children.
