The Minerals Council and Harmony partnered with RIIS to host a Reimagining Training in Mining innovation showcase, which investigated the use of EdTech in training to upskill and reskill mining workforces effectively for the fouUsing an open innovation process to identify ready-to-implement training innovations, a call for proposals resulted in the selection of top 6 finalists which showcased next-generation training solutions at events on 30 September and 1 October 2021.

This culminated in the naming of WinWin International as the winner of the showcase. WinWin International’s solution will be piloted and evaluated at Harmony’s mines, making them pioneers in upskilling their workforce.
