Mining Employment: Q4 2024 Economic report archive

Formal sector employment in the mining industry declined by 3,180 workers to 468,898 in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024 when compared to Q3 of 2024. Disappointingly, this was the fourth consecutive quarter of declining employment in the mining sector.
