As part of the mining industry’s consolidated strategy to tackle the scourge of GVBF in society and in mining host-communities, the Minerals Council and its members have partnered with the National Prosecuting Authority’s Sexual Offences and Community Affairs unit as well as the Gender Based Violence and Femicide Response Fund to support the Thuthuzela Care Centres (TCCs).

The TCCs offer much needed after care services to survivors of GBV nationwide that include medical services, legal assistance, and psychological care. Read more about how you can partner with us in rooting out GBVF from society.
